Overview and Objective
To date, our client has managed the inventory and ledgers of all items acquired over the years manually, using pen and paper. It was very inefficient with misses here and there over the period of time and very time-consuming.
They wanted a faster, accurate and more accessible solution. The idea was to digitalize the entire ledger management system and transfer the entire ledger system to Tablets.

Key Challenges
The transformation from existing system to new one had many key challenges that included a few listed below:
- Offline nature due to compliance restrains
- Already existing huge on paper database
- Complex and messy management structure
- Backup maintenance with offline nature
Solution Proposed
Developed the application entirely offline with relevant tech stack, functionalities and libraries.
Incorporated one click data import system which facilitated import of years and years of data from a single excel just by one click.
Created an entire flow with element placement such that on the spot new requirements and requests can be incorporated.
Created a one click backup restore system in an offline system which can be restored again by a single click in case of hardware failure or system failure.
Result
The E-Ledger project successfully addressed the client's need to digitalize their manual inventory and ledger management processes. By developing a fully offline, tablet-based application tailored to the unique requirements and compliance restrictions of the defense industry, the project was a 100% success.
